Swati W. Sandhu
14 years teaching history in Kozhikode

- English, Hindi
I taught history at Brookfield Secondary School in Kozhikode from 1985 to 2021. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my the final-year class class, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.

you taught me history in 1991 at Brookfield Secondary School. I still remember that terrible school play.
