Swati M. Bhatia
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Udaipur, Rajasthan, India
- 2007 to 2015
- English, Hindi
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2007 in Udaipur and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I sing in a choir.
More about Swati
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Swati: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
