I taught history and design and technology at Unity Grammar School, Edmonton. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Swati
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Swati: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
