I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Swapna: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me history in 2005 at Amritsar Technical College. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
