Swapna L. Savla
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Hubballi, Karnataka, India
- The Hubballi Shop
- Since 1982
- English, Gujarati
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Hubballi, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Swapna: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 2025 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Jaipur.
