17 years teaching religious studies in Varanasi
- 🇮🇳 Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India

For 22 years I have been the religious studies teacher at Varanasi Technical College. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Swapna
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Swapna: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
