I spent 20 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Windsor Polytechnic in Pune. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a postal worker and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Swapna: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
