Sven Willem Meijer

34 years teaching special education in Haarlem

🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
Haarlem Girls' School
2009 to 2019
Dutch

I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

Subjects taught

Special education Biology

What gifts mean to Sven: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
