Sven Van Beek
19 years teaching Spanish in Amsterdam
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Beacon Technical College
- Since 1992
- Dutch, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
More about Sven
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Sven: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
