Susana L. Romero

Youth basketball coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico
  • Monterrey Community Club
  • 1984 to 1997
  • Spanish, English
I coached basketball at Monterrey Community Club from 1984 to 1997. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
