Susana A. Fuentes
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Kingsway Workshop
- 2007 to 2021
- English
I've worked in carpentry from 2007 to 2021. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 590 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Susana
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Susana: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 2008 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Bangkok.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
