I coached hockey at Hyderabad Athletic Club from 2011 to 2020. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
