Suren A. Steyn

Youth boxing coach and mentor

  • 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Johannesburg Sports Club
  • 2003 to 2017
  • English, Zulu
I coached boxing at Johannesburg Sports Club from 2003 to 2017. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
