Surafel Gashaw Hailemariam
Choir director and singer
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Since 1985
- English, Spanish
I'm a musician from Jimma. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Surafel
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Surafel: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
