Sung-min Chang-min Song
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- Little San Francisco Workshop
- Since 1998
- English, Korean
I've worked in tiling since 1998. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,480 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Sung-min: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
