Sundar T. Thevar
Baseball and fitness coach, Madurai
- 🇮🇳 Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India
- 1979 to 2007
- English
I coached baseball at Phoenix Community Club from 1979 to 2007. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Sundar
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Sundar: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
