Sumon Sen
Volunteer mentor with Dhaka Association
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Association
- 1983 to 2017
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,050 people through Dhaka Association.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Sumon
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Sumon: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
