Sumon Sajib Bhuiyan
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Workshop
- Since 1993
- English, Bengali
I've worked in auto repair since 1993. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,490 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Sumon
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Sumon: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
