I've been a nurse for 40 years, most of them in elder care at Pioneer Community Hospital in Rawalpindi. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I carry a notebook everywhere. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
Areas of care
What gifts mean to Sumbal: I'd put gifts toward a training course in palliative care.
