I taught geography at Dhaka Grammar School in Dhaka from 2004 to 2014. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Sumaiya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Sumaiya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me geography in 2007 at Dhaka Grammar School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
