Sumaiya Shima Uddin
Professor of anthropology, Jaipur Institute of Technology
- 🇮🇳 Jaipur, Rajasthan, India
- Jaipur Institute of Technology
- 1997 to 2017
- English
I taught anthropology at Jaipur Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2017, and supervised 12 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Sumaiya
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
