Sumaiya Mousumi Begum

Electrical work for 38 years in Mumbai

  • 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • Heritage Repairs
  • 1979 to 2017
  • English, Bengali
I've worked in electrical work from 1979 to 2017. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 2,170 apprentices. The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Sumaiya: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
