I've played sitar since 1982, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Sumaiya
I write my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Sumaiya: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
