Sultana Sharmila Mondal
Physics and Spanish teacher, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Since 1978
- English
I teach physics at Parkside Academy in Dhaka since 1978. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I never turn anyone away.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Sultana
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Sultana: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me physics in 1987 at Parkside Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
