Sultana Runa Kabir
15 years teaching English literature in Pune
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Lotus Technical College
- Since 1987
- English, Bengali
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 39 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
More about Sultana
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sultana: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me English literature in 2022 at Lotus Technical College. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Truly.

You taught me English literature in 2008 at Lotus Technical College. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.
