Sultana Ruma Majumder
Painter, potter and teacher at Brookfield Pottery
- 🇧🇩 Chattogram, Chattogram, Bangladesh
- Brookfield Pottery
- 1999 to 2014
- English
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 1999 at Brookfield Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I'm learning the guitar.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Sultana
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Sultana: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
