I taught biology at Lotus Girls' School in Mysuru from 1987 to 2004. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 370 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
