I've been a nurse for 23 years, most of them in intensive care at Mumbai Community Hospital in Mumbai. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
