Subramanian P. Swamy
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
- The St. Joseph's Shop
- Since 1991
- English, Kannada
I've worked in welding since 1991. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 630 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Subramanian: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
