Subramanian J. Sastry
Teacher at Mount Pleasant Academy, loves physical education

For 18 years I have been the physical education teacher at Mount Pleasant Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Subramanian: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me physical education in 2010 at Mount Pleasant Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Truly.

You taught me physical education in 2013 at Mount Pleasant Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard!
