Subramanian C. Venkatesh
Embroidery and mural painting artist
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Since 1999
- English, Telugu, Spanish
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1999 at Baobab Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Subramanian
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
