I've spent 17 years as a lecturer in literature at Baobab Polytechnic in Mumbai. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Subramanian
