Stijn Van den Heuvel
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇱 Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands
- Old Maple Ridge Trades Guild
- Since 2016
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2016. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 590 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Stijn: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
