I coached tennis at Fort Worth Baobab Athletic Club from 2003 to 2019. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Stephanie: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2018. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Jakarta Selatan.
