I've spent 40 years as a lecturer in materials science at Paris University in Paris. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
What gifts mean to Stéphane: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
