Stepan Tkachenko
Teacher at Sakura Girls' School, loves physical education

For 22 years I was the physical education teacher at Sakura Girls' School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
