Stepan Nikolai Marchenko
Teacher at Beacon Academy, loves physical education
- 🇷🇺 Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia
- 1983 to 1999
- English, Russian
For 16 years I was the physical education teacher at Beacon Academy. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Stepan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me physical education in 2005 at Beacon Academy. I still remember that terrible school play.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2003. I remember you. Greetings from Dar es Salaam.
