Stepan Maksimov
Choir director and singer
- 🇷🇺 Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia
- Trinity Music School
- 1987 to 2009
- English, Ukrainian
I've played flute from 1987 to 2009, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Stepan
I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Stepan: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
