I teach environmental science at Ottawa Technical College in Ottawa since 1979. Most days I teach teenagers, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Stella
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
