I spent 16 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Bellevue College in Bellevue. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Stella: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
