I've been a nurse for 37 years, most of them in elder care at Piraeus Community Hospital in Piraeus. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
