Stanislav Nikolai Sokolov
Thatching, done properly
- 🇮🇹 Lecce, Puglia, Italy
- Redwood Shop
- Since 1995
- Italian
I've worked in thatching since 1995. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,240 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Stanislav
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Stanislav: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
