I taught early years and economics at Cedar Grove Middle School, Tiruchirappalli. My door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 1,100 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Sowmya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Sowmya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
