Sowmya H. Venkatesh

Self-taught ceramics artist

  • 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
  • Hope Art Collective
  • 2009 to 2025
  • English, Malayalam
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 2009 at Hope Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Hope Art Collective, which keeps me honest.

More about Sowmya

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
