Sowmya H. Sastry

Retired sociology lecturer

  • 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
  • 2002 to 2018
  • English
I spent 16 years as a lecturer in sociology at Pune Institute of Technology in Pune. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm learning the guitar. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Sowmya: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
