I'm a woodcarving artist based in Coimbatore. I've been making things from 1991 to 2023 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Brookfield Gallery, which keeps me honest.
More about Sowmya
I've had 13 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Sowmya: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
