Sowmya C. Nayak

Painter, potter and teacher at Lotus Studio

  • 🇮🇳 Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
  • Lotus Studio
  • Since 1992
  • English, Kannada
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 1992 at Lotus Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Lotus Studio, which keeps me honest.

More about Sowmya

I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

I bought one of your pieces in 1993. It's still the first thing I see in the morning Greetings from Quetta.
