I've served Birmingham Mosque in Birmingham from 1996 to 2009. My days are mostly visiting, listening and helping people carry things, sometimes literally.
People come with every kind of question. I try to listen first. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Souad: A gift would go toward our weekly community meal.
