I teach marine biology at Starlight Polytechnic since 1981, and supervised 33 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
What gifts mean to Souad: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
