For 13 years I ran the athletics program at Good Shepherd Boxing Gym in Giza. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Souad
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Souad: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
